This is Didi, our new puppy. She is the sweetest little thing.
We got her a week ago and when we first saw her, her adorable ways just melted us.
Since we got all the amazing channels, we got hooked to the show called "The Dog Whisperer", and it now comes in handy. Chris has been using all the different strategies to train our little Didi. The first little success so far is that rather than running ahead of us, Didi lets us go first whenever we enter or exit the elevator. Apparently this is important because we need to let her recognize who is the packleader.
Didi just got spade a couple of days ago and is now wearing a cone around her head to keep her from chewing off her stitches. My colleague (who has two dogs) told me we need to make sure Didi does not jump because it can rip her stitches from the inside. Uh-Oh, she was jumping all over the place since last night.
We have been spoiled parents - she goes out for walks at least 3 times a day ... it's actually Chris. He insists on taking her outside so she can run around, so she is now accustomed to only doing her business outside. I am just imagining how we will do this on rainy or snowy days!?
By the way, she is a pretty bright puppy ... I see her tilting her head and using her brains ... probably thinking of ways to get whatever she wants us. Last night, she insisted on sleeping on the pillows on our couch ... and she was so cute we let her ...
